SCP Tier List

This page ranks playable SCPs in Anomaly Lockdown for the current meta. It is not an official Melder Studios list. Ranks assume a full or near-full 40-player server, Hume scaling of about 2.75x except on SCP-035 and infection sub-instances, and one Eye Hazard plus one Infection pick per round. Pair this with the SCP roster for selection rules and with the weapons tier list for what humans will shoot at you.

SCPs spawn in Heavy Containment at 18:35. You get 45 seconds in a white room to lock a class; unused slots randomize. Some SCPs can be unavailable if they were used last round. Hume Shield is one fifth of max HP and takes about 1.25 minutes to refill.

How slot tax works

Main SCPs have no class cap. Eye Hazard is a hard 1-per-round tax: SCP-087-B Glimpse, SCP-096 Shy Guy, or SCP-173 Sculpture. Infection is the other 1-per-round tax: SCP-008-0, SCP-049 Plague Doctor, or SCP-3199 Matriarch. A “better” Eye Hazard is not free. Taking 173 means you will not have 096 peeling spawn waves. Taking 049 means you will not have 3199 babies clogging reinforcements.

Friendly gamepass SCPs (999, 131, 1424, 2295) are omitted from the combat board. They cannot harm players.

S-tier

SCP-173 The Sculpture (Eye Hazard). Base 2625 HP plus 525 Hume. On a full server that scales to the largest pool in the game. The Eye Hazard tax is real, but 173 is the reason the tax exists: humans must keep attention on the statue or they die. Current meta puts 173 at the top of S because no other Eye Hazard matches this tank while still winning hallway fights. If your team already has 106 and 049, spend the Eye slot here.

SCP-106 The Old Man (Main). Base 1725 HP plus 345 Hume. No slot tax. Second-largest pool after 173. 106 is the Main you pick when you want an S-tier body that does not steal 173 or 096. Humans need coordinated fire and Hume burn; a lone Class-D with a pistol is not a plan.

SCP-096 Shy Guy (Eye Hazard). Base 1375 HP plus 275 Hume. The other Eye Hazard that belongs in S. 096 punishes anyone who looks. In a 40-player server that is a lot of faces. Current meta keeps 096 in S even when 173 is “the tank,” because 096 deletes spawn waves that blinked at the wrong time. If 173 is banned from last round, 096 is the default Eye pick.

SCP-049 Plague Doctor (Infection). Base 1125 HP plus 225 Hume. Infection slot. 049 is S because conversion quality plus scaled Hume beats the thinner 008 kit. Sub-instances (049-2) do not scale, so the doctor’s own body is the tank you protect. Current meta: lock 049 unless you specifically want 3199’s map flood.

A-tier

SCP-076-2 Able (Main). Base 1150 HP plus 230 Hume. Power Main. Able wins melee trades that 066 and 035 cannot. A-tier, not S, because Hume sits well below 106 and there is no Eye or Infection unique. Pick Able when the Eye and Infection slots are already filled with S-tier names.

SCP-457 Burning Man (Main). Base 1125 HP plus 225 Hume. Area denial in corridors and Surface chokes. Same Hume band as 049, but 457 does not convert. Strong into stacked humans, weaker into a coordinated Hume-burn squad with range.

SCP-939 With Many Voices (Main). Base 1150 HP plus 230 Hume. Trickery Main. 939 is the SCP you pick when the other Mains on your team are blunt instruments. Current meta values 939 in A because it creates picks; it does not out-tank 106.

SCP-3199 Matriarch (Infection). Base 1000 HP plus 200 Hume. Infection slot. A-tier because the Matriarch spends the same slot as 049 for a numbers plan instead of a conversion plan. Babies and later 3199 bodies do not scale. Take 3199 when you expect long rounds and want reinforcement waves clogged. Take 049 when you want the doctor’s Hume in the first five minutes.

B-tier

SCP-087-B Glimpse (Eye Hazard). Base 1150 HP plus 230 Hume. Sanity pressure instead of a physical snap. Strong support next to 035 or Serpent’s Hand, but the Eye slot is usually better spent on 173 or 096. B-tier is “good kit, expensive tax.”

SCP-280 Eyes in the Dark (Main). Base 800 HP plus 160 Hume. Playable, threatening in dark Heavy Containment, but the Hume pool is a league below Able and 457. Current meta: pick 280 when S and A Mains are taken or unavailable.

SCP-2006 Too Spooky (Main). Base 825 HP plus 165 Hume. Stealth Main. Same band as 280. Useful for hunting isolated scientists; not the SCP you send into a Gate B MTF clump.

SCP-008-0 (Infection). Base 480 HP plus 96 Hume. Infection slot. The plague spreads, and 008-2 bodies do not scale. B-tier because the slot is contested by 049 and 3199. 008 is the Infection you take when you want a cheaper body and more infected, not a doctor with 1125 HP.

C-tier

SCP-035 Possessive Mask (Main). 400 HP, no Hume, no player-count scaling. 035 can cuff and convert toward Serpent’s Hand, which is unique, but the body itself is the squishiest Main. Current meta: pick 035 for the conversion plan, not for a duel. Humans with Fine guns delete 035.

SCP-066 Eric’s Toy (Main). Base 625 HP plus 125 Hume. Playable, loud, and easy to focus. C-tier until Hume or kit changes.

SCP-966-Zenith (Main). The 29 August 2026 rework changed 966 completely. Detect is now passive and heals nearby SCPs. Hard Hit no longer knocks down — it only unequips whatever the victim is holding. Shriek gives nearby allies a small speed boost instead of disorienting enemies. The passive healing for SCPs is new; the Detect radius was nerfed by 25% on 8 August and players in range are now notified. C-tier on the combat board because the chamber prize is the TX-08 rifle (a weapons-list problem), not the kit itself.

Human board, for context

MTF Liberators, Chaos Geists, and GRU-P Vanguards sit high among humans. Class-D sit low until they leave Light Containment with a Fine gun and a real card. A geared elite can threaten B-tier SCPs; they still need a squad to burn S-tier Hume. See Foundation and Class-D and Chaos for who actually holds those kits.

How to lock a round

Default current-meta lock: Eye 173, Infection 049, Mains 106 plus Able or 457. If 173 is unavailable, Eye 096. If 049 is unavailable, Infection 3199. Fill leftover Main slots with 939, then 280 or 2006. Leave 035 for a dedicated conversion player. Leave 066 and 966-Zenith unless you are practicing.

Serpent’s Hand is friendly to SCPs. Occultist, Hierophant, Patriarch, and Wanderer elite exist to open doors, carry cards, and shoot the humans you cannot. Truces last four minutes and only one can be active. SCPs do not need a truce with Hand.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is this SCP ranking official?

No. It is current-meta opinion for Anomaly Lockdown. Hume numbers are the published bases; the S-A-B-C order is ours. Recheck after Hume or slot-tax patches.

Why is 173 S-tier if it costs the Eye Hazard slot?

Base 2625 HP plus 525 Hume is the largest pool, and the statue forces attention. The tax is real, which is why 087-B drops to B: same slot, less threat. See the SCP roster for class caps.

Should I ever skip 049 for 3199 or 008?

Skip 049 when you want map flood (3199) or a cheaper infection body (008). Current meta still prefers 049 because the doctor scales and the sub-instances do not.

Does SCP-035 belong in C-tier even with conversions?

Yes on the combat board. 400 HP, no Hume, no scaling. The cuff-into-Serpent's-Hand plan is real and still does not make 035 a duel pick against Fine guns on the weapons list.

Do Friendly SCPs have a tier?

Not on this PvP board. SCP-999, 131, 1424, and 2295 need the Friendly gamepass and cannot attack. Treat them as support, not ranks.

Where should I go after this page?
