Anomaly Lockdown The Creature ARG Guide

The Creature is the alternate reality game (ARG) introduced in Anomaly Lockdown on 18 July 2026. Players must solve puzzles, explore strange realms, and collect shards to restore The Creature to full power. This guide covers Part 1 (SCP items and the first badge) and Part 2 (realms, bosses, and the Abyss hub). Part 3 has not been released yet.

The ARG is best attempted on a private server with the VIP Panel enabled, which makes spawning specific items much faster. Public servers work but the unpredictability of other players can disrupt puzzle steps.

Part 1: Summoning and SCP Items

The Creature spawns at random during a round, appearing as a small transparent face in one of two locations: a pillar room in Entrance Zone or a crossroad room in Heavy Containment Zone. It can also appear near Gate A on Surface during nighttime. If The Creature has not appeared, restart rounds until it does.

Once you find the face, shoot it once with any firearm. The Creature will fully manifest in the same room. Approach and interact with it. The Creature speaks in rhymes and requests two SCP items: SCP-500 (Panacea) and SCP-018 (Super Ball). Use the VIP Panel to spawn these items to yourself, or locate them in-game.

Deliver both items to The Creature. You will receive the ARG’s first badge and The Creature will give more vague instructions before disappearing, mentioning its dislike for “The Custodian” — an owner-exclusive character with importance in the game’s lore.

Part 2: The Abyss and Realms

After completing Part 1, The Creature’s monologue hints at the next steps. A note hidden in a Sector Checkpoint Room in Entrance Zone provides additional direction. This note is optional but helps guide you toward the black-and-white cross-shaped corridor in SCP-106’s Pocket Dimension, where a red shard can be found and interacted with. Interacting with the shard displays binary codes that, when decoded, instruct you to “drift like an untethered phantom” and “return to the dark where their seed first cracked.”

This means using Freecam in The Tutorial. Activate it with Shift + P. Move your camera far to the left under the Tutorial baseplate, find The Creature’s large flat face image, and slowly phase into it. You will be transported to The Creature’s Abyss.

The Creature’s Abyss

The Abyss is a hub area: a twisted, dark-red version of the Surface Zone flipped upside down with inverted gravity. You can find and interact with The Creature here again for more riddles and direction. Notes scattered throughout the Abyss describe upcoming realms with riddles. The first realm to visit is the Cheeseball Realm.

Cheeseball Realm

Join the game “cheeseball Demo” (Roblox ID 7650840582). Head left outside the cheese-ball castle. Find the first shard behind a giant head, then speak to Mr. Cheese to begin the quest:

1. Distract Slenderman by telling him to explore. Return to Mr. Cheese.
2. Ask the Cheese Wizard about the Cheese Orb, then ask to have it. He will refuse. Return to Mr. Cheese.
3. Mr. Cheese gives you a key to the room with the orb, but first distract the Cheese Wizard by telling him someone stole his orb.
4. Steal the orb after distracting the wizard, give it to Mr. Cheese. He gives you a Dark Orb to place where the Cheese Orb was.
5. A boss spawns after placing the Dark Orb. Defeat it to receive the second shard and access the next realm.

Rake Realm

Join “THE RAKE FANMADE EDITION” (Roblox ID 9154626990). You appear in a dark forest surrounded by tall rock walls. Prepare for the Rake boss fight:

• Find a flare gun at the military base. Firing it summons a supply drop with six items; you can only take one.
• Purchase a scrap tracker to locate scrap for points at the shop.
• Sell flares, the radar (currently bugged), and shard coordinates for points.
• Recommended items: Stunstick (main damage), UV Light (retreat tool), Bear Trap (stun and escape), Vest (extra HP), Medkit (healing), Pills (20 seconds infinite stamina), Painkillers (50% damage reduction for 20 seconds).
• Bug exploit: the military camp has no invisible ceiling. Get on top and lure The Rake inside to trap it.

Defeat The Rake to obtain the shard. Part 3 has not been released.

The Creature ARG is a tribute to melder227’s earlier games that led to Anomaly Lockdown. The badge earned from Part 1 is Roblox badge ID 677671139330361. The ARG was introduced alongside the 18 July 2026 “SCP Tweaking Update” which also reworked SCP-096, SCP-280, SCP-087-B, SCP-457, SCP-2006, SCP-939, and SCP-3199 Matriarch.
