August 2026 Patch Notes

This is the dated changelog for Anomaly Lockdown, newest first. The game is in early development and playable on Roblox. Melder Studios created it on 3 August 2025; public gamenights started 1 September 2025. Numbers below are paraphrased from public notes. If a later lobby disagrees, trust the live client and then come back.

Use the updates hub for the short briefing. This page is the long list, from 29 August 2026 back through late June 2026 highlights. There is no YouTube embed here on purpose; keep one video on the hub.

29 August 2026

  • SCP-966 reworked into 966-Zenith. If your SCP tier notes still say 966, rewrite them. Zenith is the name and the kit you will meet in HCZ.
  • UIU Commander primary is now the TAR-21.
  • Modified AKM recoil 0.85 to 0.55. Combined with the 25 August clip and spread changes, the rifle is easier to hold but less of a laser spray.
  • MC&D infinite reinforcements bug fixed. Marshall, Carter & Dark should no longer lock the counter-wave loop.
  • Elite duplication bugs fixed. The 13 August elite cap of 2 per allied factions is meant to stick.

25 August 2026

  • Leaning removed. Shoulder peeking is strafe and crouch only. Update your controls muscle memory.
  • AKM: clip 40 to 30, damage 22 to 21, spread 0.35 to 0.45.
  • UNGOC M249: clip 80 to 60, damage 14.4 to 16, weight 1 to 3. The belt is shorter, the shots hit harder, and the gun is no longer nearly weightless.
  • Serpent’s Patriarch receives the KS-23M.

24 August 2026

  • Modified AKM added as a named rifle before the 25/29 number passes.
  • UNGOC M249 added as the GOC heavy belt.
  • Jumpscare content added.
  • Rules board added. Exploiting or playing with exploiters is a permanent unappealable ban. This is the date you should cite when someone links a combat toolkit. The scripts hub exists as a warning, not a shop.

21 August 2026

  • Mobile aim assist and mobile inventory display in settings. These are official, not injectors.
  • KSG nerf. Dumping a KSG into SCP-914 for AA12 or M249 is even more reasonable.

15 August 2026

  • SCP-280 nerfed and reworked. Treat 280 guides written before this date as stale.

14 August 2026

  • Lobby white lights (visibility in intermission).
  • Logistician added to facility staff rolls. Raise Staff pity if you want that kit in the mix.
  • Knockdown changes for 966, 939, and 2006. Auto-escape scripts were already a ban; these knockdowns are the legit tension.
  • Warhead music present but undocumented in the written notes. When Alpha arms after 7:00 (auto after 4:00), expect audio even if the patch list forgot to mention it.

13 August 2026

  • Sprint backwards and fire while sprinting. Stamina still matters; deleting it with a toolkit is still a ban.
  • New escape-role units: NTF Sentinel, CI Chembrace, GRU-P Paramedic, UNGOC Phalanx, UIU Sentinel. Learn them from Foundation and Class-D and Chaos as those pages update.
  • Elite cap 2 per allied factions.
  • Pity max 500 on Staff, Guard, Rare, and SCP. Values are not percentages. They double after a played round. Disable and reset remain on the panel.

Late June 2026 through early August (highlights)

Public numbered notes are densest in the August cluster above. The stretch from about 25 June 2026 through 12 August 2026 was still pre-alpha gamenight iteration: map generation, role tables, and gun feel without the later named drops (Logistician, Modified AKM, 966-Zenith, rules board).

What was already true in that window, and still true:

  • 40-player servers, proximity voice, radios.
  • Containment Breach and 05 Rescue votes in intermission.
  • SCPs delayed to 18:35 in HCZ.
  • Four reinforcement waves at 15:00, 12:00, 8:00, and 4:00.
  • Alpha Warhead armable after 7:00, auto after 4:00, 90-second detonation that wipes below Surface.
  • SCP-914 in LCZ with Fine locked.
  • Pity tracks already in the lobby (the 500 cap is the 13 August clarification).
  • No public promo-code box. That is still the codes status in September 2026.

If you took a break at the end of June and returned in September, do not assume leaning, 40-round AKM, weight-1 M249, or the old 966. Play a private round with VIP if you host, or jump a public gamenight and die once on purpose to read the rules board.

How we will log the next drop

New bullets go at the top of this page, then a one-paragraph recap on the updates hub. We will not invent codes to celebrate a patch. We will not treat a YouTube showcase as a changelog. Official routing remains the Melder Studios group and NVZ Legions links on the links hub, because Anomaly Lockdown still has no dedicated official Discord.

Print the August dates if you need a cheat sheet: 13 (movement, escape roles, pity 500), 14 (Logistician, knockdowns, lights), 15 (280), 21 (mobile, KSG), 24 (AKM, M249, jumpscare, rules), 25 (no lean, gun numbers, KS-23M), 29 (966-Zenith, TAR-21, recoil, MC&D, elite dupes). Everything older than 25 June 2026 on this page is context, not a fake bullet list. Keep the client updated, keep the rules board in mind, and treat every gun number as temporary while the build stays in early development.
